The bit about Arabs being unable to pronounce the P is true. Arabic has labials, but it doesn't have the unvoiced stop. The Phoenician letter which became Hebrew Pe and Greek Pi became Fa in Arabic. But the rest sounds more like a folk etymology than true history.
