Not explicitly, but they will harangue the fuck out of you until you either join their cause, shut up or go away.

The thing is, Markie, the majority of posters on GC are pro-choice. If someone who is anti-choice constantly pushes the issue, or constantly makes nasty accusations against the pro-choicers, they are going to receive opposition. Sometimes heavy and heated opposition. Call it "haranguing" if you want, but if you look for arguments here about such hot button topics, you will find them. It's that simple. I've seen you make many rude accusations, uncalled for attacks, insulting insinuations, hurtful comments towards a group who has given you more chances than either of us can count etc., and when you do that, it boggles the mind if you expect cordial responses. Many of us try to be patient with you, and to interact with you cordially, but then your anger mode inevitably comes out again. As the saying goes, if you pick the nose hairs of others, you need to expect them to slap your hand away.

They may not force you to take a side, but it's close enough, and don't believe for a second that there is no overarching agenda here.

Many of us have the agenda of fighting for change to a world that is more free than what we have today. There has never been a claim to the contrary that I'm aware of. If you do have an agenda for change, and others have an agenda against that change, then you're going to knock heads. It's that simple. We have to face this fact: It's very difficult for pro-choicers and anti-choicers to get along for five minutes at a time, because we are each diametrically opposed to what the other side considers most near and dear to their hearts.
