Undelivered letter to a certain girl
- -----

                                               April 14, 2005

Dear Miss,

I hereby want to express my fullest appreciation for everything
that you did for me during the first week of April. It might not
seem much to you. Yet for an unstable, weak and longing heart as
mine, those were and are beautiful moments thanks to you.

I appreciate the kind way in which you always greeted me. I
appreciate your heart-stopping smile which you never failed to give
me; which I will never fail to remind.

I appreciate all of your attentions; the way you always listened to
me, in every detail and with the most complete sincerity.

I appreciate, and, Miss, pardon me if my words seem unsound, for it
is my heart that speaks through my pen; but I appreciate your
beauty. Pardon me, but I find inspiration in your black hair. I
find peace in your peaceful eyes. I find joy in your playful
freckles. I find a reason to live in your smile crowning your
lovely girlish face with the ivory jewels of your lovely girlish
teeth. I find reason and I find life when you talk as your voice
imposes its very own bass andantino in my ears. I find love in your
tender little hands and I find art in your body and like a
delirious man I find beauty in your frail, thin ankles.

I appreciate even more, Miss, what your heart tells the world. I
appreciate your passion; just taking shape but which I can rest
assured will move mountains one day not far ahead. I appreciate
your commitment which amazed this lonely pessimistic dreamer who
now writes this to you, Miss. I so deeply appreciate your ambitions
and wholeheartedly wish you best in the hard task of fulfilling
them. I appreciate them the more because I never was as strong in
them as you are, Miss. And you know I am not alone in praising you
or in wishing you well. And, most important, you know, Miss, that
you can always count on me in pursuing your dreams; and again I am
not alone in this offer.

I appreciate, Miss, that you then came to me for help and advice. I
appreciate your trust more than anything else.

I appreciate that you, Miss, will be there, to continue to dream
and to learn, unstoppably, until you touch the sky.

I appreciate that you will not allow me to ever forget what it
means and what it feels to touch the sky.

I know you will be there to make sure I remember.

And I will remember, Miss; of course I will!

Yours, most truly,

LGsinmyheart
