I know that feeling exactly - reading someone else's GM and thinking, oh you lucky bastard! I think as long as we get out there and live life with a positive and giving attitude, we will be sure to experience the moments we crave for.

I do wonder about the mother... She knows I love the girl, but I have not told her how deep my feelings go. Was she as good at hiding her concerns as I was at hiding my fear?
