Just another sad example of misguided fear. What the hell did the mother think you were going to do to her daughter when she is sitting right nearby? Even with the insight (of the mother) that this girl was under a huge social limitation aka friends and even siblings. She still couldn't allow a rare close moment with someone who was desiring to impart some joy, friendship and genuine affection in a totally plutonic setting. And they say we're sick. casper
