Strawberry . . .

A question: what makes anything a GM? Is it not your own perception of an
interaction, an experience, a look, or anything else that makes it
meaningful to you? Even if this LG (who sounds adorable, by the way, and I
can just picture the jumping tent (bouncy thing) full of kids laughing and
enjoying the moment) had looked at you, smiled at you, frowned at you,
would that have made it more valid an experience for you? It might have
added a dimension or angle that wasn't there before, but the moment is
yours, to experience, define, reflect on, remember, share, regret --
whatever the case.

If a GM is defined strictly by some participation of both (or all) parties,
then I fear we would have very few GM's. Yet, we would still have these
experiences that are real to us, that ask for a name, a label, something to
demarcate them as significant in some way. Okay, call it a tomato -- but
it is still what it is, regardless of the name. Remember what Billy
Shakespeare said about roses.

Your GM is a GM if it is one to you. It was for me in your sharing of it.
Thank you.

Kind regards,
Mikhail Rasputin
