Actually the house does have a window air conditioner, but it is worthless.
I ran it all afternoon downstairs and even standing by it doesnt do much
to cool you off. So I open the frig and freezer compartment, even though
I am told NOT to, and get some precious seconds of artic air before going
back to the misery again. My other option is to sit in the car, which
DOES have good air, but its kind of expensive to sit there with the engine
idling and no where to go just to get the air. If I were only rich, I could have the house equipped with central air, but then I would start to
see these $500/month electric bills my cool friends get. I heard it
was 72 right on the water at the beach, but standing room only there.
The weatherman says cooler days are coming, Thank God!
