I wish I could go into more details about how I know personally that the sheet thing is untrue, but the pseudonymity thing strikes again. Suffice it to say that I have done extensive research among a wide variety of Hasidic sects around the world, and the lie about them using the hole in the sheet is, at best, despicable and pernicious, and anyone should be ashamed of believing it for a minute or spreading it further.
