Being an oldies fan as well as an oldy himself, I think I would have enjoyed this little party. I might have tried to talk to the mother a little and see what she thought of me dancing with her daughter, just as a kindness to the child. If you speak to parents first, they often will let you get much closer to their kids than you might think. Buttering up the mom = a little sugar and spice from the LG. :))
