I've been going to that scout group for over 10 years, since I was 8yo myself. If I suddenly stop going then it's going to look VERY suspicious. As hard as it's going to be, I think I'd rather see S every week as just a friend than to quit altogether.
And in this case no, the relationship isn't at all one sided. I'm positive I mean a lot to her, the fact that she was making me a card bears that out. Its going to be very hard for her too, as she's gonna be confused and conflicted about what her parents are telling her. I just want to hold her and tell her it'll be alright, but what are my chance of getting to do that now......?
