All I can hope to do I think

All thats left is for me to talk to her and break up. If the parents are at all lax next week she may be able to get to scouts early and we can talk then. Otherwise I'm thinking of asking the dad during the meeting if it would be ok for me to have a private word with her to set things straight. As far as he'll be concerned I'll be telling her that I'm sorry I lead her on and that she shouldn't have a crush on someone as old as me, to go and look for a younger bf. But when I get her in there I'll be able to pour my heart out and tell her the truth: that I really love her more than anything else in the world but it's not going to work. That we have to be friends only even though we both want more. And that I'll always be there for her if she needs me. And that in a few years time if she's still interested I'll be waiting.
I think it'd be best for my sake to get it over with next week if possible. I really don't want to do it but what choice do I have?
