Thanks Jester's Tear,

I also find myself looking for more people to come out to (I currently have three in mind). It definitely seems like the most effective way of changing someones view of paedophilia, but how far can we go? How many people can we tell? I don't think everyone in my life would consider me important enough to them, to spend hours fighting their past beliefs - they'd probably rather forget and exclude me from their life. Perhaps the added support of those closer to us, could help to expand the acceptance amongst others?

Like you my experiences have only been in the last year, so another thing I wonder about is how long it will last - will they one day turn on us? Life is ever-changing; where will we be in five years?

Your idea of a leaflet sounds great, written words can bring so much clarity - and it gives them the freedom to read when they are ready - there isn't a confrontation. The only problem I see is that it would be great evidance, but I suppose if someone is close enough to you that you'd come out to them, they're unlikely to stab you in the back. That only leaves accidental discovery of the leaflet by someone else - perhaps you have some advice on this issue? I also wonder what type of information you have included in the leaflet - if you're willing to share this (you may email me if you prefer).
