I think it's the same as most people with homosexuality. Ever hear of the Kinsey Scale? Well, it's goes from 1 to 6, 1 being absolutley straight 6 being absolutley gay. Well, it's hypothisized that about as many people fall in the 1 catagory as fall in the 6 catagory and most everyone else is somewhere in the middle whether or not they explore it. Plus, the Drunk Principal, get enough drinks in most people they'll do most anything cause alcohol lowers inhibitions. I think it's the same thing w/ lg and tg attration. Straight men usualy like younger girls, consitering the sterotype of men leaving their wives for "teenagers." Most young women were married as soon as they started menses back in the day to men twice their age or more so the attraction's there, primal instinct doesn't change. Plus when lots of men hit mid life crisis they try to recapure their youth. If you've ever seen American Beauty or Poison Ivy you can see that. Lg's though, i think to a lesser extent but it's there too.
But this is just my observation, I could be wrong.
