First, you're a lucky son-of-a-bitch for being able to move in with your little friend, jesus how I envy you. The mother and father of the girl I'm with have seen us being "close", but nothing too serious. And it's funny, just like you said, it seems like the more she notices the closeness, the more it's OK. It's like maybe the mother denies the doubt and tries to make it the opposite, complete approval and tolerance. She would rather be in denail of any sexual conduct and make herself believe it's purely platonic love. Of course, it's always both sides that are true.

Just be careful in the future about going "too far". You don't want to ruin this wonderful opportunity to be really close to the girl you love.
