If she hit me out of playfullness, then I would hit her back in the same spirit. In order for me to ever hit her with the intention of hurting her though, it would have to be some really odd situation in which she was a danger to my life or her own life.

But, that's all moot. MRC, if I log into chat now and see you there and say "Hi MRC, ya 'ol bitch!" will you take it personally? Most ppl wouldn't, when things like that are said between friends and familiar persons. It's the same with us. She knows I don't mean it. It's really not a big deal.
