A Little GM

As some of you may know, my YF "Maggie" comes to spend the night at my house about once every other week. These days are always filled with GMs, small but precious. On her most recent visit here, one small GM occurred that I really want to share because it made me soar to cloud 9!

It was about 11pm and I was trying to get Maggie and her cousin (who had come along with her this time) settled down and ready for bed. I wasn't in any hurry to be rid of them, so I was really just playing around with them a little bit before bed.

Anyway, Maggie (age 7) frequently wants to be picked up and held. Not like a baby or anything, but she (and I) enjoy it when I pick her up and just wrap my arms around her and we lay our heads on each others' shoulders and just enjoy being like that for a few moments. Well, since her cousin was already getting comfortable on the mattress, I figured Maggie would want to go lay down with her. I looked at the Mattress and back at her and asked "Do you wanna go lay down?" She looked right at me, layed her head back on my shoulder and said "No......I want to stay in your arms." Wow... If there was ever a better GM, I certainly haven't heard it! All she wanted, above all else at that moment, was to be held in my arms and loved.

I know, I know, not much of a GM for some of you. Maybe it sounds all mushy and corny or whatever. You'd probably rather hear about the numerous kisses she gives me (often holding her lips against mine for a few seconds). Or maybe you'd rather hear about how she loves to lift up the back of her shirt and have me caress the soft skin of her back. Well, sorry, but this is all the GM you get, lol! There are really just too many special things that happen between us to share them all. I would like to state for the record (and for the LEOs) that absolutely NOTHING has ever happened that could be percieved as inappropriate or illegal by even the most conservative anti. And it will damn sure stay that way too. I care for her far too much to do anything that would place in her the hands of court-appointed therapists (read brainwashers) so that they can turn her into a "victim." And, last I heard, there's nothing illegal about allowing a child to give you a kiss, so stop those wheels from turning and don't waste your time.
