You say that she suffered from anemia when she was a small child. Do you know if she still does?

I don't think so. I asked her once is she still anemic, and she said that she was anemic a long time ago, when she was 3-4. So I suppose she doesn't suffer from anemia any more.

She may eventually need bone marrow transplants, especially if the condition worsens.

Umm... Isn't that just too drastic?? Noone ever mentioned that it could be that serious? OK, I know that I know less about medicine than you, but noone said anything about that operation.

Anyway, thank you very much for explaining this to me, and I would also like to know - how serious is it? What could leukopenia lead to? Is it lethal? Please, can anyone answer?
