Well, I suppose because I read about 90% of the posts around here and sometimes more. But just because we don't really get along very well anymore doesn't mean that I dont read your posts. Am I somehow restricted from reading any posts made by you now? Is there some reasons why I shouldn't be?
Now, I didn't say that you "shouldn't" be reading my posts. I simply said that it surprised me that you would have any inclination to do so. And I especially didn't think that a mere GM would garner your attention.
Besides, you seemed happy and I wanted to know what happened that was nice enough for you to post here. Regardless of what you think of me diss, I have known you a long time around here and I want to see good things happen to you.
Thank you. Probably because I get so few real happy moments, I may go a bit overboard when one does occur, and blow it a bit out of proportion. But that happened to be a good day thanks to that girl (especially considering my need to go to the doctor out of the blue), and this is the only place I know where I can share it (if I mention it in Lifeline, I will get a lot of "Ick! Girls!!" type of comments).
I want to see you happy and this little encounter seemed to make you feel some happiness in you regardless of the mothers reactions. Thats all diss.
It's not a prob, I just didn't expect you to read it...but sure enough, you did. And I feel sort of embarrassed that you ended up reading it and calling me on my comment. The mother's comments did depress me a bit, including my knowledge that she would no longer think I was a nice person if she found out that I found her daughter attractive "in that way." But her daughter's presence really perked me up when I needed it. Since I'm "out" in RL as a hebephile to most of my friends, whenever I'm at a public function with them and their family (as I was this past weekend), I have to steer clear of all the AG's there (many people in their family have young adolescent daughters), and say as little to them as possible, and never for more than 2 seconds at a time, lest someone get the impression that I'm trying to hit on them, and sometimes I feel that these girls find me rude and aloof for being so distant from them. Nevertheless, I know that I have to do that, but it really, really sucks, and it really annoys me that society has to be like this.
You're a parent of a girl. I can see you saying, "Eeeeeuuuwww, if I caught him looking at MY daughter like that were she a few years older, I would castrate him!"
Again, you should know me better than that and not my label.
Well, the "parent" thing is a distinguished label, and one that people take very seriously, and this can taint their reaction to a man who finds their young adolescent daughter attractive. So I just didn't know how you would react to this GM.
"Yes, but that girl wasn't your daughter, or related to you in any way."
So, and why should this make any difference?
The direct emotional connection of a personal nature wasn't present.
"Is it okay if I use that in the future? I'll give you credit for it."
Absolutely! I was hoping you would.
You were actually hoping I would?? So you invented that acronym "on purpose"? I'm not saying that was wrong, I'm just saying that this surprised me, and now I have the embarrassing feeling that I fell right into something that you predicted I would do beforehand (as if you KNEW I would like that acronym).
Just like Georgie Porgie. ;o)
I didn't expect you to read that post, either.
"How can a 7 year old wear a bikini? There's nothing to hold it up. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that it's morally "wrong" for a 7 year old girl to wear a bikini in any way, I just find it a bit baffling."
LOL! It's not our boobs that hold up our bikini tops. There is a string that goes around the neck that holds it up silly.
I know that!! What I meant, and what I should have explicated more clearly, I suppose, is that I'm surprised that a 7 year old can wear a bikini, because she would have nothing to fill out the cups with.
And she looks beautful in them. 8o)
I'm sure she does, and that's very open-minded of you. You certainly don't have the social hang-ups that the mom from my GM up above had. The way she was acting, I'm surprised she doesn't make her daughter wear Victorian apparal at all time (since she certainly espouses Victorian morals), with a neck-to-toe dress that has five layers of cloth under it to de-emphasize every aspect of her daughter's physical femininity...including white gloves, since if her hands were exposed, she would probably be showing too much skin, in her mom's eyes.
"No, I don't think you're a prude, but as a parent, I figured you may find it objectionable for that reason...mothers tend to have a fit if a guy my age would look at their 12-13 year old daughter and admire her 'in that way.'"
Welp,
"Welp"?? That was cute...can I use that one in the future, also? (And plz re-assure me that you didn't anticipate my reaction to that one)
you were wrong. ;o)
If so, then I apologize.
"Yes I agree, and I know you're just trying to prove that you don't find me a vile pervert simply because I find girls that age to be attractive in sexy clothing like that..."
Well, you're right in that I dont think you are a vile pervert for finding a girl that age to be attractive in sexy clothing. Hell, I do too! There ain't a damn thing wrong with it.
Her mom would have disagreed, and since you're also a parent, I didn't know what your reaction would be. In the capacity of a parent, your reactions can be unpredictable at times, so I thought on the slim chance that you read my post (and read it you did), you may have ended up reviled by it, thinking I was pulling a "Furby" on that girl.
(yes, I know ain't is not a word, but so what! lol)
"Alot" isn't a word either, yet you always see people using it.
"Here we go with that 'Cinn' thing again. Is it ever going to run its coarse?"
maybe...
*sigh* I was hoping for a "definately."
So anyway, it's good to see you back diss. I hope your health had improved and that you are feeling much better. You sure do worry people around here when you have to leave for a while. (yes including me 8o)~ )
I don't mean to worry anyone, so I try to check in periodically during an extended absence. Sometimes it has to do with health problems, but other times it's due to professional commitments that I need to catch up on, personal matters I have to deal with, or the many other newsboards that I post to (all non-GL related) and sometimes get behind on, and other times it can be a combination of two or more of the above. I also try to put in sufficient time at LL helping out the peeps there, though I have so far resisted the requests to become a vol, since I do not like being in a position of "authority."
Now look at what you have gone and made me do. I responded to you point by point and most people know I dont normally do that. 8o)~ (joke!! It's just a joke lol)
You thought I might take that offensively? Do you really consider me that overly sensitive? :\ I know I can have a bad temper, but I don't think I lose it all that often, or all that easily.
Now smile and be happy damnit! Spring is here and there will be lots of skin to go around! ;o)
I can only hope that tank tops, halter tops, and tube tops do not go out of style for AG's (though for the last few years, I didn't see many tube tops on girls).
Love ya lots and lots!
Cindy
(just for you)
Fanks. It was nice to see you end a post sans the "Cinn" for once.
