Yes, the place is actually in the U.S. of A. Hard enough as that may be to believe. It's a place that's far enough away from the major cities, that it's simply developed it's own identity. The people who live there are more into the value of individual thinking and accomplishment. They don't sit around all day watching television programs that attempt to scare the hell out of them, for ratings. And therefore they realize the healthiness of not including their children in such fear and paranoia.
I wish more places could be like that, of course, simply for the mental health of the young people who are growing up. Although, realistically, if a kid is growing up in the inner-city, with gangs around them, etc., it's a far cry from the place I'm thinking of. And there are very real dangers to kids in such situations.
But the place I'm thinking of doesn't have gangs, so kids don't have that problem. It's just that they haven't scared the hell out of children who live there out of life itself. And the children grow up in a much healthier manner.
