As a Christian, I think it's slightly overstepping the mark; I disapprove, and would not impersonate God myself, but then I am a liberal, committed to freedom of speech. As long as I am aware when the voice is not God's, I shall be OK.

Hell, people wrote an entire Bible claiming that they were writing "God's words".
