From what I can understand from this GM of yours, old friend, and from a few of your other posts through the years, you're a bit more blatant about your GL in public than I am. While it's generally known by my friends that I'm a hebe, I do not openly engage girls within my AOA in conversation, nor would I ever tell one whom I just met that she was "pretty"...especially not if other people are around. If word get's back to others that I gave her such a compliment (even totally innocently, e.g., "That guy is so nice...he told me I was pretty"), or worse, if some adult who was with the girl overheard what I said, I would expect a hostile or at least passive-aggressive response from that adult. I would also expect adults to express a common cultural prejudice and wonder why a guy "my age" wanted to talk to a girl "that young." I mean, I could only be up to no good, right? Otherwise, I would have struck up a convo with the girl's "hot" 36-year old mom, correct? This is how the modern day bigotry along those lines goes, and I would expect to be subjected to it (as much as it would upset me anyway) if I was a trifle too open of my GL.

You live in the wrong society and in the wrong time period for that, GW.
