One time I had a perishoner come to me with a problem. She said that there was teenagers in the church who was "leering" at her. I looked at this desperate sister of mine and just plainly told her "Mrs. X, if you do not want those boys leering at you, I would suggest putting something on when you come to the Lord's house. After all, you have to understand, those boys are only looking at what you put out on display." She was offended at first, but later she called me and told me that she understood what I was saying. I have a knack to offend people face-to-face, simply because I don't think before I speak, but usually the first thing out of my mouth is the right thing to say. Some call me "abrasive" I prefer to think of myself as lifes little brillo pad for some.
