Some school districts also have a young 5's program that if your child is born right in the first half of the school year, they will not start kindergarten till 6. I knew one girl in my class that was like that who graduated at 16 because she started late and got bumped up one grade. I would have liked to date her when she was a freshman as she was only 12!
