It's called Where the Wild Things Are actually, and yes it's brilliant. I also love Dear Mili and In the Night Kitchen (one of the few children's books I've ever seen to feature full frontal nudity throughout, although it's a little boy).

Sendak is a brilliant writer and illustrator who has borrowed greatly from his influences, which are alot of the Golden Age illustrators and people like Windsor McCay, who drew my all-time favorite comic strip series, "Little Nemo in Slumberland"--I have 5 of the 6 volumes that collect the entire run of that strip. McCay was a true genius, and so is Sendak. I aspire to their greatness.
