I don't have any expectations with her, other than friendly conversation at the pool. My primary intent was to erase the image she probably had of me, impressed upon het at 7 y/o, that I was a stranger to be feared and avoided at all costs. It hurt everytime I saw her and saw the way she would react to me, based upon what someone had told her at a very vulnerable time.
