The paranoid, clock watching White Rabbit has become an almost iconic figure since Alice followed him down the rabbit hole. The illustration of the White Rabbit here is by Helen Oxenbury, taken from the 1999 Walker Books edition of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
