Broadly speaking, yes. It never went as bad as it went for you, however; just that I felt like teleporting in that moment...

Over time, also, I have learned to be less obvious (or at least try) - it of course depends on the girl's age and what seems to be the mom's attitude; sometimes the mothers can be friendly too (I fondly remember one time when I spoke with a mom and two adorable daughters, ages around 11 and 6, and I left with a sense of "why didn't I ask the 11yo to marry me??"); sometimes they seem indifferent, sometimes it's quite clear they'd get you in trouble if caught...

But it surely doesn't feel exactly comfortable to be caught ogling a preteen girl by her parents...
