If you really don't just want to be friendly with a child and see her happy, but just want to touch her and "get in her pants", do yourself a favour and stay away.

Damn! There go my hopes... my dreams... my aspirations. ~sniffle~ lol... ;)

Lmao! Yes, there are a number of comments in my post that can be summed up with "duh". But maybe not everyone knows that for all of them. And knowing something and doing something are sometimes two different things.

Y'know, you have a point.

Usually, though, in my experience, "difficulties in flirting and dating" usually end up arising from other factors. Like, a big one in my life has been... shyness. Too many times, a young girl's flirting with me has been shot down because, well, I'm timid. lol... ;)

Generally, like you said, if you're friendly, make their daughter happy, and behave responsibly, the parents will be ok with it.

Yay!

heh. "And even if they aren't, most parents are afraid to piss their daughter off if she really has her heart set on you," lol... at least in my experience. ;)

However, having the parents or other adults not freak out about you might be a little more difficult.

Really? I've found that just being myself does the trick. Admittedly, they figure out you have a thing for preschoolers pretty quick - but they usually just use that as an excuse to introduce you to their own daughter. ;)

...in my experience.

Anyways, thanks for the post. Some of your respondents would seem to indicate that what you and I file under "duh" is beyond the capacity of some. ;)

thx.
