I'm sorry to have used the word "nasty." I just felt that you were saying I feared raping a child, and that's not me at all.

What is important to recognize is the knee-jerk reaction some had to my post. I won't speculate as to what caused it, but I will say it's not my words per se. Instead, it had more to do with the indivduals who reacted.

I recognize that my post is from the point of view of someone who actually has sexual feelings toward children, and who recognizes the social and personal consequences of being accused, whether falsely or not, of inappropriate behavior. My point of view is to take all necessary precauations.

If you or anyone else wants to continue thier relationships with little girls, and if you feel comfortable doing so in our social climate, then by all means do so. Be trend setters. But there is nothing wrong with someone saying "Wait! What are you doing? Maybe you should reconsider."
