Thats a really sweet story. Its good to know that all this took place while her father was present. There was clearly no paranoia on his part about her being friendly towards you. I have been in similar situations (as a parent) when my daughter has been in conversation with an adult male. Even on those occasions where I detected a little bit of 'extra' interest, I was content to passively observe the interaction. There was never a hint of impropriety on any of these occasions, but I usually felt some amusement or even slight arousal, knowing the effect she might be having.
