Re: Fixing things....

I have noted that there are more and more young girls able to do for themselves these days, mostly due ( I think) to the fact that more girls are having to fend for themselves... either because the parents are too busy, or they force self reliance because they feel that any dependence on another is a sign of weakness.... bah!... poppycock!... Being able to ask for assistance is one of the strongest traits one can have... because if you can do it all.. you are god/goddess... and I am thinking not!

It takes the combined efforts of a community to make the world we live in.. and to be frank, it's a mess because so many want to cut out certain groups and skills and ideas... fuck that. Diverity RULES, and diveristy means openness to others, to ideas, to seeking and giving assistance as needed... not rudeness, total self-reliance, suspicion, or fear.
