The problem is when, by the time a class hits high school, only maybe five people out of three-hundred actually think learning is worth anything at all. The problem is when these idiots are so brainwashed that I am embarrassed to be a teenager. The problem is when I say something about rights to one of "the smart ones" and she tells me it's bullshit because teens are stupid.

For all the cool ones, there are ones that have been ruined. Adults don't magically become what they tend to be. They are turned into that. It's really, really sad. This is another reason why I hate being a teenager - it hurts to watch somebody turn into that. It hurts to watch the best part of someone die, and it happens again. and again. and again.

I don't know. Maybe Canada is magically immune to bad school systems that systematically brainwash and ruin millions of kids every year... But America? It isn't. Maybe it once was, I don't know. But seriously, when was the last time you went through a public school in America?
