Have I mentioned how much I adore the Japanese culture? No really, I do!

Actually, I have been a fan of traditional Japanese culture since my Junior High days, and have always had a fondness for the people. Seeing Japan's recent history regarding laws and minors, in spite of delightful little Mizuki and the lingering (and now half-in-the-closet) residuals of freedom that they had, it saddens me that they ever got so hung up on Western culture and decided that it was so great to follow the example of the big boys.

Japan has always been a beautiful land with beautiful people and a beautiful culture. Why must they bow down to capitalism and sell that beauty off piece by piece? One of the most beautiful traditional cultures is dying off because of their obsession with becoming westernized. If only they could see just what they were doing and stop it before it were too late.
