..whacking guys in the nuts?

I had just been introduced to the group of kids who were to be considered my peers, I just having turned tweleve was the oldest in the bunch with the youngest one there being IIRC, a six year old boy. The next age above me was IIRC fifteen or sixteen. Eventually I would be placed in with the high school kids ealrier than I should because socially I was deemed to be more on a High School level socially. But this was my first day at the school and my first day meeting her. As soon as the teacher went down the hallway to allow us to eat lunch and play around a bit in the 'activity room' this nine year old latino girl had burried her fist in my nuts...as I gasped in pain and explained (probably for the first time in her life) why it is not a good idea to smack boys in the nuts I had no clue just how much this little girl would prove to be a part of my life later on...
