It will probably be difficult for you for a while. Eventually, though, you'll learn how to handle the situation. Be sure you know and think about the consequences of anything you could possibly do. Think about that often, and ask yourself what you're willing to risk. I'm only saying that because many never bothered to think about those things before going to a place they didn't want to go. From experience, I know what it's like to meet a new LG who automatically senses that you're a girl lover and starts clinging to you. It can be both wonderful and a little scary. The scary part for me was not having many past experiences with it and wondering if I had the willpower to behave as I needed to. The whole experience can be very seductive, and a little emotionally draining. Still, I think it was actually beneficial for me. I learned a lot about myself, and I now have a better understanding of how I'll handle affectionate LG's in the future. To simply avoid them would have never helped me take control of my own desires. And I know how many so-called experts believe the "proper" thing for all of us to do is just avoid kids. It might be true for a few with no self-control, but it wasn't true for me, and I suspect, for most of us.

Ride out the crush until you see it in perspective. And definitely tell her that you love her:)
