We have no independent confirmation as yet that the money is to be returned. This may all be smoke.

On the other hand, if any charity does refuse our money, we should pledge never to donate to that charity again, whether publicly or privately.

There are plenty of other charities out there, if that becomes necessary.

In the meantime, what had been a relatively private act of charity (we didn't go around announcing it off this board, after all) has now been publicized more widely, thanks to Absolute Zero.
