In my family, kissing on the mouth has never EVER been done between platonic people. Husbands/wives or girlfriends/boyfriends only. Nothing else. Ever. So I never had a kiss until it was something romantic, and even now, I don't like kisses very much. I simply am not used to having people that close to my face and it bugs me when it happens. So I would've been bugged if someone had just kissed me randomly on the mouth when I was little.

My mother THRIVES on affection. After my bio father became bedridden (and eventually died) from a stroke, she was even more so. I was a shoulder to lean on. It made me uncomfortable back then and it really does now. I'm just not touchy feely, and I don't think it has everything to do with her, but it's hard to say why I am that way. She loves hugs and kisses and that. Hugs I can deal with. I think hugs are necessary to an extent. Kisses, no. Too wet. Too odd.

If some LG in my aoa did it, I'd likely fight it. I'm not nearly out like a few of you are. I'd be so scared that some adult might question me.
