imho, this is one of the best questions i've seen on GC in some time ...

a LGF, i imagine being some one's little girlfriend .. like, holding hands, flirting, intimate talking, etc ...

i prefer the term LG friend ... seperating LG and friend, indicates that she's a LG friend--as in, only a friend and nothing more. You all get along, spend some time together, but there's prolly not mutual flirtation, she might not like u 'that way' or u might not like her 'that way' (not bloody likely, is it?) ... but it's just friends. maybe u prefer to keep it this way .... a LG friend, imho, is what i think a non-contact person could/should have.

as for when a LG friend becomes a LGF, i would say, when she's flirting, when she spends more time talking/being with u than she does other boys she likes... when she gets jealous of u having other girls friends, or liking some one else ... THEN she's ur LGF, imho ...
