I doubt they would interpret it as being sexual interest. As long as I can remember, I have been more inclined to notice interest from friends as being just that. It is confusing to look back and think that some of the interest from men could have been more than I was aware of. But then I am shy, and do not flirt, or seek out this attention. It could be happening more than I am aware. My guess is that kids are alot less aware than you think. They may do suggestive things, but not realise what they are doing. And I think I am sure a girl would not react negtatively if they knew you liked her, quite the opposite.
