GM of a different breed

I have been enjoying the summer with kids, and adventures. Lots of changes have happened in my house and lots of challenges. For the last couple weeks i have been enjoying the company of an older fella and his kid who have been driving us around in his fast little Stang, stopping at icecream parlours, and every swimming hole our kids could jump in. (Now keep in mind money is not important to me, I paid my own way.) We picniced and swam and played and drove. It has been nice to have the companionship with someone who seems to appreciate kids. I am pritty sure he is a paed wannabe. Even thought i could tell him about this place and who i really am. I teased him by saying he "was a paed who likes things legal and i am a girontophile who loves kids".
We never really spent anytime alone and away from the kids, unless you consider driving down every road there is around. It was perfect he loved kids, and admired the scenery of them, with me. He even got unfixed at 47 to have another kid with his much younger ex-wife. Now he was retired and fancy free to wonder about. Kids, paeds, and girontophiles all together, wahoo!
The other nite he invited me over to his place, for a drink, where he takes care of his mom. I just didn't realize this was the "meeting mom" kindof visit. When mom went to bed, he landslided me, with, "Let's run away to europe and get hitched."
WOOT!
This is stuff out of Soap Operas or something.
See we haven't even done anything, this was the first time alone. He's got that maturity, that makes his conversations stimulating. Just wait a minute, never heard of someone running away right after they meet. With my hesitation and questioning he came up with "strolling Broadway" of New York, or swimming in the Bahamas, or . . . cruising Paris (When he said New York i had to say i had a friend from the internet i wanted to go visit, hopefully you know who you are.) When i said i had a job that i had to maintain, his answer was "don't worry about that i will take care of everything".
WOOT!
My head was spinning. See I have always been the responsible one, cause my kids are first. This was the kinda of guy some mom's groom their girls to find. Never thought a life of fancy free would be so tempting. He even wants to have kids around. Is this a match made in heaven? I figured it had to be the alcohol talking.
Well last nite he pushed the point. "Forget the kids, let's run away together and travel the world." Even when i talked to him about his abandoning his own kid it was a "who cares." I suggested once this trip was over he would want to go somewhere else. He taunted me with more glamourous places. Then i knew that i was faced with a choice, and i thought of you guys here. No matter that i would love to travel the world, my kids are first, and need me here. I told him he had to go play "Tom-cat" on his own. So I took him home. Which led to the almost impossible task of removing him from on top of me and from inside my car. All i could think about after that was driving home as fast as i could, so i could talk to some friends in chat. Thanks again D and D for listening.
See I don't date, and i don't get out much, and I am right against all those female's who are just out there to get themselves a "sugar-Daddy" with no consideration for their responsibilities. Now I know why i don't date.
This dream of shared adventures turned into an octopus with the hopes that his money could buy me. Guess he is going to have to find some bimbo to live out his fantasies.
