Youthful Tendency Disorder is indeed a devestating and heartbreaking condition. The insightful article in The Onion did, however, omit some of the more unplesant realities. When YTD strikes very young individuals, for example those under two years, other debilitating symptoms, such as lack of bladder and bowel control, also appear. Rampant nose-picking has been observed in victims up to the age of four years. There is, furthermore, a marked lack of normal language function in the youngest of victims.
There is hope however. Dr. Juan Dope, of the Dianetic Psychaiatry and Vedic Chemotherapy department of Ulan Bator University, has found that early face-to-face mentoring and internet-based grooming can have certain positive effects on some YTD patients. "Orgasm Awareness Therapy" (OAT) is also advocated by many specialists as an alternative to the more expensive drug therapies mentioned in the Onion article.
