I hate to admit, after that comment, but my AOA is 3-10; I have a greater attraction to my own age than I do teens.
Anyway, when I say fight, I mean continuing to push for our acceptance.
The last line of Lgsinmyheart's post sums it up nicely.
I want to add to that by saying that sleeping in the same bed with my LGF was a huge risk, and I cannot allow that to happen again. In fact, much to my dismay, I think I'm going to have to avoid being alone with her at any time.
She made a comment to me that implied that her mother is now suspicious of me. In these matters, it doesn't take much more than suspicion to turn the wrath of the "justice" system onto me.
I fight... for her.
