Sorry if this is a bit long. It's my first time so I'm a bit excited!

It happened at my church. My family is signed up for this missions convention thing, where we make booths and hand out food from different countries where we plan to "spread the gospel" (I'm a bit religiously cynical). Buy anyway, the church had a meeting tonight, and My mom, my little sister, and I went. Me and my little sis, her name is C., we went and played air hockey in the big playroom they have. Well, I was enjoying myself, beating her badly, when out of nowhere, the one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen came up to us and watched. She asked who was winning. I said me, and I asked her if she would like to play after my sister. She said yep, so I beat my C. as fast as I possibly could and started the new game. She beat me. Badly. Everytime she got a few points ahead of me, she would give me a few free shots. I asked her name and she said H. I asked how old she was and she said she just turned 10. So she beat me and said she had to do her homework, so she skipped off. So I sat at the church piano and messed around a few minutes. Finally, I walked around and into the sanctuary. They were projecting 101 Dalmations, the animated one, so the little kids wouldn't be bored. And there she was, just watching. I sat in the pew across from her and she noticed me. She had her homework with her, and I asked what it was. She had to write a little essay about some guy and a shortwave radio. She sat right next to me and I helped her a bit. Every once and a while we looked up and watched Dalmations, and she would say something like "Aww, the poor little puppy" and I would make a witty comment on the dog food bills and she would give a cute giggle. The meeting was over and all the parents came in. Her mom, a young, twenty-something, laughed when she saw us together and thanked me for helping her with her homework. I said no problem and when we were leaving, H. said "Thank you". I said you'll do fine on your essay and you're a great air hockey player. Another giggle. And then we left. I now have somehing to look forward to every Sunday!
