As a Christian myself, I agree with you. Unfortunately, too many people try to justify their mad and dangerous ideas by claiming to follow Jesus - like those on Louis Theroux right now! Most Christians are good, loving, non-judgemental people but unfortunately it's the "Lunatic fringe" that tends to get the media attention and thus colour the views of peoplec who are not followers of Jesus themselves :-(
