GM abound! Plus gift for Flower.

Well, I must say today was quite wonderful. I went with one of my great female friends, D___, to World's of Fun. It's a theme park... fairly big, probably equalling things like Six Flags. Once again, the rides and the fun were almost enough for the day. But, now that I've become more aware of the LGs around me.... I noticed how great of a place it was.

Little ones in bathing suits, little ones clutching their mothers hands as they suckeled on sticky fingers, the little ones complaining about how long the lines were, or how their feet hurt. And then they would do a little 'angry dance' to vocalize their mood. So, cute.

Well, my friend D___ convinced me to go on all the rides I was scared of. Doing that, I convinced her to accompany me on all the kiddy rides, and I'm sure you can guess the reason.

Well, I was wating in line for the 'Wacky Worm' taking in the... -cough- sites, when one of the operators told me that if I were to ride it, I was to be with a child. I was about to leave in a dissappointed mood, but I saw that one of the seats was empty next to this rather adorable little girl. I asked her Mother if I could perhaps ride with the kid, since I couldn't ride by myself, and riding on this particular ride has been a tradition since I was young. I was expecting a nervous 'no', but to my suprise, she said it would be okay. Needless to say... I was unhappy at how short the ride was. :/

Around this time, D___ began to notice my stares and looks at the different kinds of girls.

"Any reason why you are staring at them?"

"Kyle enjoys all forms of cuteness." {Yes, I do talk in the 3rd person to her a lot. It gets on her nerves.}

And then when she said "Awww" at a couple of babies near her, I was oh so eager to ask her why she was paying attention to the youngsters.

From there, I had a bet with her how many girls I could get to smile and wave back, or actually engage in conversation with them. The ones that were with their mothers were a little hard... except for the nicer ones, who also smiled and waved at me. It was easy to talk with them if they were on the same ride though. I'd challenge them to screaming contests and such, much to the amusement of D___.

Well, on our way out, we decided to stop by the giftshop. D___ helped my find a present for my lgf (D___ is not aware of her age. I only said she was my girlfriend, and gave her a name). I was about to give up, until I found a circular necklace, with a spinning heart inside. It also even had her named engraved at the bottom. Needless to say... I'm sure my Flower will be quite happy to get it.

So, you pretty much quessed it.

Awesome, awesome day. And, if any of you are in the Kansas City area... I suggest you stop by the amusement park, especially on a summer weekend. If not for the rides, then for the attractions.
