That's not gonna happen. Sorry, but all depictions are not gonna be made illegal. Maybe all nude (even baby and artistic), and maybe those child-modeling sites which keep so many of us from coming out (since we don't even know half the time if those photos will be considered legal or not).

There are too many artists, intelligent people, and children for that to happen. Children programs are in full boom and they almost always depict real or animated children. Japanese influences will keep at bay such extreme hysteria. And the abundance of children and cameras and video recorders makes it impossible to have depictions of children illegal.

I mean, come on, be realistic. Lets not be fatalistic when other pedophiles are out there making progress and reporters like the one last Thursday are finding their new spin (and yes, as important this issue is to us, to reporters it can also be seen as a new spin—good pedophiles—on an old story. Not to say Melissa was looking for a spin. I believe she was honestly seeking unbiased truth).

So, LGs, I think in this case you're wrong. I don't think Americans will cash in civil liberties to such an extreme.
Jailing people just for being a pedophile (since we're inherently dangerous to precious children according to common prejudice) is something I can see. But even this is a slight possibility which I don't believe will happen if we keep working. And it certainly wouldn't happen if we'd all just realize that coming out of the toy box in mass numbers will only help us.

And if you really do believe that all pictures of children will become illegal in the USA, what are you doing to stop it? Just asking.
