Re: why not target a normal pedophile?

I have a lot of reservations about what he has been doing, because, while I believe in the free speech aspect, it just doesn't seem all that intelligent to make oneself a target. I wonder if it was his intent to become a media sensation or what? Free speech is great, but people have to be careful about their own safety.

At this point with the country-wide coverage and outrage, I am wondering if he isn't going to disappear one day and his body washing up on a beach the next. There are some real kooks out there that think they would be doing people a "favor" by attacking him in some way. I hope I am wrong though, and people aren't so vile they would stoop to something like that.

I guess it takes balls to do what he is doing, though. Not sure if it will wind up being a boon or just causing more trouble in the long run. I do think people are quite dumb, though, if they think he is going to try to "molest" a child with the entire country watching. It will wind up another case where they waste their time watching one person while missing things that do happen.
