Don't know about him being a liar

..but I was going to call him a terrorist.

He thinks that by hiding behind the law that he can cleanse his part in all of this mess? He knew full well that he was contributing to a hysteria that would result in a man who is innocent of any crime being hunted, persecuted and ultimately being hurt and made to feel extremely unsafe by the apparatus of the state. That's terrorism to me.

He's contributed to the body of law in such a way that now no-one's life, liberty or property will be expected to be safe. He allowed his paranoia to guide him instead of whatever wisdom he may or may not possess, and gave succour to others to do the same.

Being all 'helpful' after the dirty deed is done is hardly any recompense.
