I really admire the wife in this. She showed a lot of courage, kept her head and tried to do what was best for her daughter and the family as a whole. As a result the daughter is now a happy teenager getting on with her life. I couldn't help but laugh when it became obvious that the whole investigation and legal processes were more traumatic for the daughter than the initial deed itself.

Full marks to the husband for knowing that he can't be "cured", but he can now control his urges. You can't ask for more than that.
