As Taf-kat has noted, this man betrayed you and your daughter. This is not always an insurmountable obstacle to a relationship, but it should definitely give you pause.

However, it is noteworthy that most men who molest children are not pedophiles at all. If your boyfriend was drunk or otherwise incapacitated or emotionally troubled at the time of the incident(s), this might be the case. That should still give you pause, however, for other reasons.

Most men are attracted to both girls and women. For the majority, they prefer women but can be attracted to girls - for non-exclusive peds, they prefer girls but can be attracted to women (especially girlish women).

Like I said, judging from a distance can be difficult, at best. That said, based solely on playing the averages, I would advise you to look elsewhere for love. That, and stick by your daughter.
